Video/Audio Producer

Reporting directly to the Director of Marketing, the Video/Audio Producer will be responsible for end-to-end production, from ideation to execution, of Family First’s podcasts and video content.

Job Description

  • Create and develop audio and video content for podcasts, websites, and social media, including: customer stories, external promotional social videos, product marketing videos, corporate training, and other organization-wide video projects
  • Be able to work both independently and as part of a team to establish project deliverables, set deadlines, select optimal forms of media for projects, and develop production schedules
  • Script and storyboard audio and video projects
  • Plan video shoots, including scouting, selecting, and reserving shoot locations
  • Plan podcast recordings and schedule guests when necessary
  • Record and edit video and audio projects, including selecting program format for final output, capturing/importing media, organizing raw media, editing footage and sound files, creating and inserting static and motion graphics, titling, adding music/voice-overs/SFX, managing media, and archiving projects
  • Manage video/audio library
  • Upload and maintain content on Family First websites, YouTube channel, iTunes profile, etc.
  • Write copy for descriptions and transcribe media for on online platforms
  • Track, evaluate, and report analytics

We’re looking for someone with…

  • Preferably a 4-year college degree in digital media, film and/or communications
  • 3 years of experience working in digital media
  • Familiarity with professional camera equipment and video production, including:
    • Both HD and SD formats
    • Pre-production/planning
    • Both studio and field production
    • Lighting/grip work
    • Scriptwriting and storyboarding
    • Post-production video editing
    • Still and motion graphics design
    • Video compression
    • Photography
  • Familiarity with professional audio equipment and audio recording techniques, including:
    • Small format mixers
    • Compression
    • EQ and effects processors
    • Studio and field recording
    • Multi-track and waveform editing
  • Portfolio available upon request
